It's almost time to cut the ribbon and PLAY! ✂️We're excited to invite you to the Melissa Lake Park Phase II ribbon cutting ceremony and welcome everyone to experience all the amenities this park has to offer. New additions include: an amphitheater, large playground, splashpad, additional restrooms, large gazebo, kayak launch station, open green space, and additional parking.
Event Details:
Date: Saturday, May 30, 2026
Time: 10am - 1pm (ceremony starts at 10am; activities to follow)
Location: Melissa Lake Park (4101 Liberty Way Melissa, TX 75454)
Activities: Playground, splash pad, face painters, balloon twisters, caricature artists, bounce house, 24ft rockwall, market and food vendors, open play cornhole, and fishing.
